A couple of days ago, Microsoft announced the closure of the “Rooms” in Windows Phone 8. This news did not end of the world, but still some of the people are upset because they have taken a useful function. But as the website of Microsoft Place, Microsoft is working on a replacement in the form of application People Sense.

Moreover, a resource managed to get the entire application and record video briefly demonstrates the possibility of People Sense. Currently this application has code-named “Buddy Aware” and allows you to create groups of users with whom you can share your location and which will be integrated with third-party applications for communications and navigation. Functional applications still very limited because People Sense is now under active development. Perhaps, Microsoft will introduce the application in the future as part of Windows 10 for smartphones or separate software solution that runs on Windows Phone 8.1. Latest looks more logical, since the function “room” is disabled on Windows Phone 8.1 in the next month, and users will have to look for a replacement bygone functionality.
